New Membership

The Lexington Boat Club has about 300 active members. You must be an owner or spouse of a member at Lexington Country Club in order to join the Lexington Boat Club.  Because there is a limited capacity on many of the boat trips we take, we have limited the number of active members in the club to give everyone an opportunity for all members to enjoy the trips.  

We have a waiting list of individuals and each year we review the membership to see who can be added.  This usually takes place in early January.   Because we have been adding more cruises and events during the year, we are eliminating the Wait List as of 1/1/2027.

We want members to be active and ask them to participate in at least 2 cruises/events, but this is no longer a requirement. 

The cost of membership is $50/member per year and dues before the December meeting. 

To apply for membership, download the New Member Application (married individuals should fill one out for each person) and send it to Bob Denholm at rdenholm13@gmail.com or give it to one of the Lexington Boat Club Officers.  When we receive your application, we will give you a LBC Member Number.  We will then add you to the Wait List.  You can check your status here each year.  Your application affirms that you have read the Policies and Procedures.

While applicants are on the Wait List, they will be invited to any ocean cruises that season and if there are any local cruises or events that are not filled by members and the capacity requirements have not been met, we will also invite applicants according to their wait list standing.
